How to kill a Nikon D4 & 24-70mm f2.8

Well, damn. Rushing and careless - I managed to badly damage the D4 and destroy the 24-70mm

- two items I thought were almost indestructible. Goes to show 1. be more careful than I have been, and 2 - buying local to have warranty, professional services and local relationships with the company is valuable.

I done something similar. I murdered my 24-70 when my right hand finger leaned on my D700 lens release button. The lens no longer focuses good and the barrow is stiff.

What is the minimum suitable Ram to open Nikon D810 files? My current computer 4gb struggle to open more than two large files at a time. Please, help.
