In my Grand Fathers study - Coronet midget

Featured Thursday, 03 May 2012 13:11

My Grand Father D'Arcy was the head of our extended family, with a personality that could unite any motley crew.

He was an engineer, farmer and formerly a photography and videography enthusiast.

Sitting in his old study, I was struck with nostalgia, and decided to do a series of vintage camera introductions there and then. I will upload these as stand alone episodes.

I hope you enjoy them.

I thought this was on your Grand Fathger;s house LOL I did not have family to learn from like you were blessed to have in your life so that's why even at the age of 54 I have to ask so many questions on Photography. I got a question and I do not know where to ask it on your site yet. My 50-200 f/4.5-5.6 died today "it was used any way" but I loved that lens so now I have to replace it. What do you think of the Nikon 180mm f/2.8D AF used for $529 US; is it a good buy or should I keep looking?? For now I shoot the Nikon D7000; I'm a year old in photo years lol but i want to get to the point of making money with my photo's but most of all I want my photo's to help people see life in a gooe light.

Thanks for all your hard work for us.
