My Gear #23 - Jacob Mulholland

New general purpose setup.

7D + BG-E7 + 2x LP-E6 Batteries. 430exII (Usually 580exII which is currently out of action) with Lumniquest 80-20 bounce reflector. Canon EF-S15-85mm IS USM f3.5-5.6 . Black Rapid RS-7 Strap. Canon EF70-300mm IS USM f4-5.6 +  2x Yugnuo Battery packs + Yugnuo YN565ex Speedlight + Lowepro Event Messenger 150 Bag. And still room for a Tablet later on down the track. The bag also has a front pouch where I've also got stored a few CF memory cards and additional batteries as well as copies of any documents such as release forms and bits and pieces of stationary.

I've only just put this kit together in the last few weeks and has been great to work with. Prior to this I would have to pack everything and run back and forth and change or add anything to my camera set-up.

I mainly shoot events such as wedding and birthday parties and the occasional corporate event. Also portraits for business or models looking to add to their portfolio as well as general family portraits.

This set-up is my light weight travel set-up that I can use and get away with shooting for most situations without having to pack my whole kit which requires 2 travel bags and a light stand bag that's full with 2-3 light stands and 2 tripods.

I also consider this my 'last minute bag' so if I do get a last minute call I can pick it up and run with it straight away.
