Strange that I cannot enter as all my photos are labeled Moderate automatically and the competition only accepts Safe content. I find that odd.
This photo was taken during Oregon trip in Sept at Thor's Well located on 101 road, and this is the first time I really take time (half day) to wait for the golden time.
Hi Matt,
I watched you shooting on location with speedlites and shoot -thru umbrella and was inspired to try it.
I shot this with my 24-70mm 2,8.
I just got it and I was very eager to try it out.
I wanted to do a summer themed shoot with a friend.
During the shoot it I saw a great idea to stand upon a little wall and shoot straight down as the model was looking up.
The end result made me think of the frensh movie ''amelie''.
I really love this shot and it's my favorite from 2014
Shot this picture on my one month trip to Indonesie. Was on a mission to get my gear out and practise the skills I learned on my (beginners) course. Climbing the Bromo vulcano with only the mist below. Maybe not technically good but I like the mistic about it.
(Canon 450d)
My photo was taken in the garden, found this little fellow sitting on a flower just before dawn, lighting was a torch and a hand held flash
The first time I did street photography. I love street photography but I was scared to go out and shoot people, so that was the best day in my photography life ;)
I was told that the beach at Tanjung Aru, Sabah, Malaysia has the best sunsets and was not disappointed.
My image was taken at Cartmel racecourse as we were leaving on the last race, and thought I would try a different angle.
I just was asked to do some work for a motorcycle company. They said the pay would be the mention of my name on the press info. No pay, no watermark, no rights to the pics. Nice.
I always wanted to take a great shot with a windmill at sunrise. Maybe this is it.
Previous link wrong, sorry...

This is a capture from this month (December). This, to me, is the peak of my photographic performance so far. I started out this fantastic hobby September this year, when a friend of mine lent to me his Nikon D3100. This inspired me to use the money I had saved up for the past couple of years to purchase a second-hand Nikon D5300. I absolutely love photography, and can see myself doing this in the many years ahead!
Purple rumped sunbird [fledgling]
First day out of its nest. Taken with a 105mm f2.8. This one never came back down from the tree. So this was the only opportunity I got.
Are we allowed to play with the images in photoshop? To create double-exposure, for example?
This is one of my recently taken images by the river Daugava featuring my sister as a model. It is taken with my recently bought Nikon D7100, 35mm f 1.8.
It seems previous link did not work. Hope this one will.
How do we enter, submit the photo in the photo pool or in the discussion?
HI Matt, sorry I missed this years completion , maybe next year. Maybe by next year I will also learn how to download a photo. Happy New Year.
