It was my understanding that the Lo/Hi range of ISO was an "unofficial" ISO rating. For example, my D750 is native ISO 100, but can go into a LO range yielding approximately 50 ISO. The reason it's LO1 and not Native is that the ISO 50 isn't necessarily ISO Standard 50. It may be ISO 48, or 52, or anywhere close to 50. Given that, they can not label it ISO 50 since it isn't "certified" as such.
