Can you shoot landscape at f2.8? Is f64 overkill for macro? All explained very simply.

    Hi Matt,
Great video, I have no problem understanding how my aperture will affect my DOF where I am struggling is working out how much DOF I have to work with. For example in the video the fist example of a face you have TOF of 3cm, the second example you have 13.5cm DOF and in the weeding shot you have 46.96 meter total DOF. I cant see how to calculate this?
    Regards Norman

    Hi Matt

Thank you for tutorial it has explained a lot I was unclear about. I do have a similar query to Norma how did you calculate the numbers you came up with? I understand the rule of a third and two thirds from focal point but lost on other calculations.
