Do YOU understand your HISTOGRAM??

Featured Wednesday, 18 January 2017 00:02

Histograms are very useful - but there are 3 things MOST people don't understand.

Look at the shots I have included, video and still. It is not an accident :)

Thank you for this. I was aware of the first two misconceptions regarding the histogram but not about the the histogram on camera - jpeg histogram as opposed to Raw. Useful video.

Great information, Matt. The difference between the histogram reading while taking the shot and viewing the RAW data on the computer is an excellent point that I was not aware of. Thanks.
